Prasat Han Chey is located on Hann Chey Mountain, in Hann Chey Village, Hann Chey Commune, Kampong Siem District, Kampong Cham Province, about 15 km from Kampong Cham Town. The Han temple was built in the late 6th and early 7th centuries in the pre-Angkor period in the Prei Kub Prey.
The temple of Hanchan is a stone-shaped brick stone, and only two of the temples have been built, including the temple of Han Chey and the temples of Angkor Thom, located on Phnom Da, Angkor Borei District, Takeo Province.
