Prasat Srey (Kampong Chhnang)

History of temples

Prasat Srei is the largest and most beautiful temple in Kampong Leng district and in Kampong Chhnang province. Prasat Srey is in Wat Prasat in Prasat Village, Dam Commune, Kampong Leng District, Kampong Chhnang Province. The temple is 10 meters long, 8 meters wide and 15 meters high.

 Through the ruins of the temple gates and gates, we see two styles: the forest style and the style of Kampong Preah. The main gateway to the entrance is in the forest. Even though parts of the temple were damaged, the general form of the temple was pretty good. This huge temple has a nice roof that is not well-off, fragmented or top-notch. Sculptures of floating temples on the wall of the temple are still good. The inner perimeter of the temple has no archaeological remains, only Buddha statues about cement. But in front of the temple next to the temple fence, the statue, which features the statue of Indra Tevy, is housed in a room of 2-3 floors and very quiet, so the roof is less secure.
